Numrich sells two types of friction rings, "late" and a basic from what I gather. I need one for a Mohawk, 12 gauge.
Does anyone know the difference and when a "late" ring would apply.
Thanks...

Re: REMINGTON MODEL 11 HELP.
Here's a good source of information I recently found. I just purchased a Model 11 B with a Cutts and didn't know there was a third set up of friction/compression rings.

Re: Does anyone shoot a Model 17
I purchased the B version of the 17 earlier this year and love it.
It points and swings effortlessly. I just traded a 16 and 12 gauge Ithaca 37 for a Remington Model 11 B with a Cutts Compensator made in 1940. The Ithaca's never really blew my skirt up, IMHO.
Easy to take down and clean up.

Re: Remington Model 10 Trap...
Thanks Den/Researcher, No, this isnt something that the gunsmith came up with but I'm questioning with all of the different reading resources regarding older guns on the net. I know that all Winchester 12 gauge shotguns were intended for 2 3/4 shells, I wasn't sure if Remington was the same... I hav...

Re: Remington Model 10 Trap...
Thanks, Den.
I dropped the gun off at my gunsmith today to have him give it a once over and check the chamber size.
Would you leave the gun as is if it's chambered for a 2 9/16 shell size and search for ammo or have the chamber reamed for a modern ammo?
Again, thanks for your time.

Pre Model 11 Autoloader
I just picked up a pre-model 11, 12 gauge Remington and was trying to confirm if anyone knew what butt plate should be with this era's gun.
Would it be the UMC/circle logo or otherwise.
Thanks

Have you tried calling Remington support?
Every time I've called regarding my 31, they've been able to answer all of my questions.
Good luck.
