sxsman1 I reread your post and realized I didn't really answer your question. Quality of the 17 is about the same as early (1960's) and before Ithaca's....(The brand new Ithaca's are fantastic very high quality stuff). SOME parts interchange between the model 37 and 17. sxsman1 Better late than never. I have one Model 17 and three Ithaca Model 37's. My model 17 is a very high quality gun. I would say it is about equal to the quality of my 1947 vintage 37, on par with or slightly ahead of my 1963 37 and WELL ahead of my 1975 model 37. The only issue I have with my R...
