Re: RRB Butt Stock Repair

I was able to contact 2shooter and sent the broken stock to him. Well, here is a picture of the repaired butt stock. Considering the original condition of the stock he did an excellent job on the repair. The stock is solid and a good tight fit. I’m very pleased. 849E24E4-E3AC-487D-888B-39870EEF365F....

RRB Butt Stock Repair

I’m looking for someone who can repair a broken RRB 1 1/2 butt stock. This is not a safe queen but a working rifle. I DID NOT DO THIS BUT GOT IT THIS WAY. Any recommendations? Steve

Well, I guess no one is willing to stick out their neck on this one. Can’t blame you. Probably best to stay with the original calibers.

Relining a Remington 1 1/2 to 32/40

I have a nice RRB 1 1/2 in 32RF with a terrible bore and plan to reline it. I have give this some thought and would rather go with 32/40 Rather then the 32/20. I know the 1 1/2 was never chambered for the 32/40. Before I move forward with this project. Is the 1 1/2 strong enough for the 32/40?

Relining a No2 barrel

I am looking for a good gunsmith to reline a sewer pipe barrel on a No.2 RRB. The rifle is currently in 32R/F and I would like it relined and chamber for 32/20 plus convert the block to center fire. Can anyone recommend a good gunsmith to do this work? Thanks, Steve

Model 12C Question

I picked up what I believe to be an early Model 12C and I hope that someone can help with the production date. The serial number is 27370 and the gun seems to be complete, will used but not abused. The bore has some pitting but the rifling is still strong and gun shoots and functions well. I do like...

Remington No. 2 Rolling block Schematic

I am in the process of restoring a 32/20 No. 2 RRB. So far, so good. The barrel has been relined and now it is time to start work on the metal. Does anyone have a schematic of the No.2? I would like to see the contour of the lower tang. Was it straight or did it have a slight downward curve? Thanks,...
