Re: Pictures of 141/14 grades and stock options

Agreed. I am curious in a 14/141 in 30 Rem for deer hunting in the less than 200 yard range. I want to make it a custom, without using a gun that will loose its heritage.

Is this a 14 or a 141 ? With the solid case in the side I thought 14. Since the buttstock is Monte Carlo I assume it was restocked.

Pictures of 141/14 grades and stock options

Can you all post pictures of the different grades and stock options. I have a C grade model 8 and now want a similar type 141/14 in 30 rem to go with it.

Remington Model 8 --- Grade 2

I just thought I would check back in with everyone here. My little Rem 8 in 30 Remington did very well on Columbian Black-tailed deer this year. It managed to bag a large three pointer...six point to you easterners. I didn't get to test its follow-up shots capabilities since the buck dropped with on...

Make sure and check eBay. Recently a few of them have gone by in auction. When searching look up Remington Model 8 and you will get just a few hits. If they are there you will see them. Sometimes you can find them by searching for 'stripper clip' but you will need to wade through a lot of auctions a...

I have a few rounds of these too. I also have some Remington bronze points for this caliber on Gun Broker. They are really neat but I do not have a rifle in this caliber.
