30 Cal or 30 Carbine
If you have a 30 caliber Remington 14 R or a 14 1/2 carbine or 141R carbine in 30 caliber which ammo do you shoot the shorter 30 carbine like the M1 carbine shoots or the regular 30 caliber. I am confused?

Did you ever find what you are looking for? I have a Model 14 R and I believe the follower I have is wrong according to the Numerick web site it look like the one in my gun is wrong. The follower I have comes back and rest below the load door so without a screw driver or something to pry with you ca...

How can you tell what year the gun was made my 14R is in the 97,000 also wondering is you no if there are different follows in the magazine tube on different years, Mine does not seam to function right. Thanks

I have started working with the 14R and found a way to repair the magazine tube so it works properly and now I am trying to stop the magazine follower that is attached to the end of the magazine spring from coming up to far. It comes up so that the loading door will not open completely.I am thinking...

Model 14 R Magazine tube
Anyone know were to find a magazine tube for a 14 R? I found the gun in bad shape and would like to bring her back to life. I looked at the list of suppler's on this site and Numrich was showing at out of the 30 cal. Thanks for any help

I really l recently ran across a 14R 30 cal. but it fell apart when I was shooting it and I did not think that part were available. It looks like it needs a magazine tube and some other small parts. Any suggestions other than Numrick? I would like to get that gun together the right way looks like so...
