Wow! 1969? This thing is in great shape for that age. I paid $200 for it. I'm surprised this shotgun got separated from it's mate. Any idea what this thing is worth?

About 10 years ago I acquired a really nice 870 .410 with a vent rib. It disappeared into my safe and I never gave it much thought. Now I'm curious about it because I've never seen anything like it. On the left side of the receiver there is a gold "inlay" that says "matched pair."...

Thanks so much. That's what I thought on the 7mag. The '06 is strange though. The barrel stamp code is a strange looking "N." and not letter designating the month. The "N" looks a little strange; almost like a "Z" rotated. Next to the "N" (left of it) is a sym...

Looking for help decoding mfg. dates for two Model 700's.
1) 30-06 "C" SN prefix with an "N" barrel code.
2) 7mm mag "B" SN prefix with a "D" barrel code.
