Looks like a Rem rolling block! If you put a hundred hours into it and quite a bit of $, you will end up with a gun worth a couple hundred.

I've kinda unofficially decided to collect Remington autoloading shotguns, especially 16 gau. Are there any books available that give all manufacturing data, ie, qtys, dates, etc? Also would like to know what came with recoil pads from the factory and what didn't.
