Rescently purchased a Remington 760 270 carbine which dates to May of 1960 first month of the first year of production if my reasearch is correct and this carbine has the rear sight attached with the dove tail . And barrell is marked with the 760 carbine logo. Never seen this on a carbine before and...

From what documentation I have the special order thing didn't happen until grice worked out many deals with Remington on the 7600s as far as a bld 223 they never made them only in the old stardard grade with the zigzag pattern on forend..most likley someone had the gun with beat up wood bought some ...

1952 760 .35 rem
I am the owner of a 1952 (YY) 760 chambered in 35 rem this gun does not have the traditional corncob lines of my other early models. Wood of a different type entirely. Could this possibly be a 760 B I never have seen one or found any info about one.does anyone have any insight on the matter

Anyone willing to take a green horn to school on 760 carbines please do I actually do own one in 308 but information on these is pretty much non existant and it is easier to find a virgin unicorn than a copy of genes book blieve me I have tried.
