Rem-Lee Model 1899 Mag with front spacer -- what's it worth?
I found a Remington-Lee Model 1899 magazine. I don't have the rifle to go with it -- I only bought it because I knew what it was and got a good price on it. I either need to find a mag-less rifle or sell the magazine to someone who needs it. It has the front spacer for the 38-55 High Power or 32-40 ...

Re: What parts are missing from this Remington-Lee Model 1899?
Mr. Myskowski, Thank you very much for your informative replies. It looks as though my best bet will be to search for a complete bolt, though they must be scarcer than hens' teeth. My rifle, unfortunately, is a sporterized Michigan contract rifle. I managed to find a magazine for it, so perhaps one ...

What parts are missing from this Remington-Lee Model 1899?
I'd like to find the parts to complete this sporter. It just looks sad the way it is. Can someone please tell me what's missing? I'll never find the parts if I don't know what they're called. There's a piece missing from the bolt body that's been replaced by a slotted screw. At least one part (and a...

Re: Help with Rem-Lee Model 1899 parts?
Sorry. I thought I'd attached the picture. Here it is: I picked up a sporterized Remington Lee Model 1899, Michigan Contract, .30 U.S.A. It's missing some parts, and I'd like to find replacements. I don't know the proper names for the parts, but I stole a nice pic from a previous poster and drew lin...

Anyone know a good Remington-Lee gunsmith?
I have a nicely-sporterized Rem-Lee Model 1899 Michigan contract rifle in .30 USA. Unfortunately, the only time I fired it, using Winchester 180 gr .30-40 Krag factory ammunition, I had a partial case head separation. That was to be my "proof" round, as I'd hoped to be able to shoot it wit...
