installing a top lever spring in 1902 Rem. model 9
I have searched for months for a Top lever spring for my now rebuilt 1902 Remington Model 9 single barrel shotgun. Finally found the darn thing, now what to do with it. There are no schematics available to show me just how this tiny little (expensive) piece of metal fits it the gun. Had it all put t...

Re: 1902 single barrel model #9/ Rider #9
Unfortunately that spring has been long gone. All that exists is a parts list from Remington with drawings of various parts, which are not to scale. I have consisered trying to substitute smething, but I'm not sure just exactly how it fits. The other parts were easier because the Model 3 had the same...

1902 single barrel model #9/ Rider #9
Does anyone know where I can find a Top Lever Spring for a 1902 model 9 single barrel shotgun sometimes called a Rider #9? I have tried all the usual places Numrich included. I am just short of giving up! Thanks

What's the best gun polish
What's the best polish to put on an old gun barrel. I have re-browned the barrel and receiver of a model 9 shot gun. Regular gun oil will make it shine, but tends to be messy and leave prints on the gun. Is there a polish or wax that you recommend that will look good and help protect the gun? Thanks

Re: Remington 1902 model 9 single barrel shotgun
Still looking for a hammer and cocking lever for that modedl 9. I believe parts from a model 3 will work since the guns are basically the same, problem is I can't find either. Anyone out there have these or know where I can find them. Thanks

Re: Remington 1902 model 9 single barrel shotgun
A schematic would be nice, but the parts are what I really need. Do you know if the extractor comes out, or do I have to replace the whole unit (welded to the barrel)? If you will e-mail me and give your contact information, I can let you know which parts I'm looking for. If you have them we can go ...

Remington 1902 model 9 single barrel shotgun
I am in the process of restoring my great grandfather's 1903 model 9 single barrel shotgun. Unfortunately it has been treated rough over the past 107 years. Can anyone help me find a schematic for this gun. I ordered a reprint of the Remington 1902 catalog, but it only shows a parts list for the mod...

Re: early Model 1893 No. 3 Help
I'm not sure about the number you have, but there should be one on the receiver where the barrel fits against it. Should be able to see this when the gun is broken down. I had a similar situation with the newer verion the model 9. I called the Remington company and they were able to trace the # and ...
