There is a "B" on the bbl bands of the rifle in question and my bad it DOES have the half cock feature!..OK here are some pictures of the RB I bought as a NY militia rifle. Top tang Remington Pat 1864 and 1868 on upper tang only also with the half cock feature P21100https://www.remingtonso...

This does not have the half cock feature. I have a NY Militia 50/70 with the half cock and a eagle and springfield on the side of the receiver with "U" stamped all over it so I have something to compare it to, so I don't think so but I do appreciate your time in responding
