I would say that by Remington's barrel codes it would be March 1947.

i need help finding out the year it was made on my Remington Rifle .22 Model 510 Targetmaster Bolt Action I have the code or State Stamp A S S 0 stamp on the side thank you in advance for any assistance.

Is that an RH on the barrel in your last picture as this will be your barrel date code?

I have a 510 that was my grandfathers would like to find it’s age it has been passed down from my dads and both brothers any help would be appreciated

Yes it is a FE grade made in mid 1906. The choke for the right barrel is IM (58%) and the left is also IM (60%) based on 510 #8 pellets in a 1 1/4 oz load.

Frequently it is worn where the Sear and Firing Pin engage. I would clean the parts well making sure to scrape off any crud. Check that the parts move freely, be sure to inspect pivot pins for damage. The Trigger Spring may be weak. There may not be a single problem so be sure to consider that sever...

I have the same issue with a 511. Did you ever find a cure?

... would be a Model 590. Remington used the following designations on many of their rimfire rifles. 0 at the end of the model # is single shot i.e. (510 & 580) 1 at the end of the model # is magazine fed i.e. (511, 581 & 591) 2 at the end of the model # is tube fed i.e. (512, 582 & 592) ...

I'm looking for a bolt assy for a 511 scoremaster. I have heard the 510,511,512 and 513 are interchangeable. Is the 513T also compatible?

It's my understanding is if there's two digits the third one is understood to be a three. So you'd have 325. But you have three digits so 125 out of 510 [ number of 8s in a 1 1/4oz of shot ] is a really open choke. Check your bores and choke with a inside dial mic to be sure.

... and has KF30 stamped on left side of barrel. Also has several patent numbers stamped on barrel. After close examination, I think it is actually a 510. The confusion comes from the model stamping. Looks like a 6, but I think it is actually a 5. The number has a straight line on top like a 5 but ...
