Re: Remington 1100 Tournament Skeet

Cabelas and several other large retailers sell slip on shotgun slings and extra barrels. There are also extra Remington 1100 barrels all over the internet.

Re: 1982 Model 1100 Ducks Unlimited "The Atlantic"

I would suggest looking on Gunbroker and GunsAmerica and do some comparing. I have been trolling there and bought two 1100s recently, and am getting a 3rd shortly, but I am after a 20 for my stepson. It seems to me I saw one of the "flyway" models go for like $550 a week or two ago. It was...

Re: Help With shotgun info?

Are you sure that's not a Model 11 you have? I believe if you go to Numrich Arms they have a schematic online, or at least they have a parts list.

Re: 1966/1967 1100 LT20?

Okay, this edit is as a result of finding some info I had forgotten. The first Lightweight 20 gauge Model 1100s were made from 1966 to 1970, and they were made on standard frames, with mahogany stocks and forends. In 1970, the LW20 series was introduced. These guns are made on the same 28 gauge rece...

Re: Model 1100 - Revision with pictures of disassembly

I hate to nit pick, but the 1100 was introduced in 1963, not 1965. I know, because I got one in 1963, and another one in January 1964. And, those two, as well as a '66, have metal 'V' gas seal rings, not 'O' rings. An Outstanding article on the disassembly of an 1100 or 11-87. My compliments. I read...

Re: Barrel Interchangability for 870 Wingmaster

I will not say it applies to all , because I have not measured all , but the ejection ports on the 12 gauge 3" and 2-3/4" Model 870 and 1100 guns that I have checked, were the same. To 3 decimal places. I will add that I did all of my checking before 1995. I think the ejection port/receive...

Re: Remington 1100 lt-20 cycling problem

Actually, the magnums had a lighter spring and utilized only one gas port in the barrel, whereas the 2-3/4" barrels had 2 gas ports. It was a balanced design. I am assuming your gun is not a magnum because you did not note that. I would disassemble the gun and check the gas ports as already not...

Re: 20ga 1100 LT -HELP

Suggest you phone Remington, Brownells, or Numrich and describe exactly what you are looking for to a real live person. I bet Numrich has one. I got the correct take down screw for a Marlin 39A after I called them. I didn't know there were three different ones.

Re: model 1100 magnum barrel interchangability

Any same gauge and same style (i.e.- Lightweight, Special Field, Magnum, or regular) Remington Model 1100 barrel will fit your shotgun, and other Magnum designated barrels will function with magnum loads. The only difference between the guns was that the Magnum barrels had one gas port instead of tw...
