Re: Rem 10 T Questions???
No one wants to work on Model 10s. I know someone who knows how they work and has some parts. I just sold him my wonderful 10T solid rib gun. Where are you located? NCR bought the Remington cash register division. That may be the connection you are looking for. I own a nice Model 10 and a Remington ...

Re: remington 3200 premier
It must be a separate group of numbers because that is not any 3200 number range I have ever seen.

Re: Model 10---what year was it made--what grade is it?
It is very unlikely the gun has been restocked, considering the quality of design and wood. Obviously the pad is not original, nor is any pad likely to be original. I guess the wood and metal could be refinished, the wood more than likely, the metal upon closer inspection. A 10D is a nice example of...

The current Julia's auction has an 11F. You may be able to get a good image from the internet catalog when it comes out.

Who is the person who uses "Rollo" on an internet sale site?
If anyone knows "Rollo", I would like to contact him. I think he is a fairly serious Remington student. Thank you.

It looks like quite a rifle. What did you decide to do about it?

Re: Model 41 Questions
I think that's the way it works. I would have to dig mine out to confirm, but if there is a plunger there, it is for you to pull. I haven't shot mine but I'm looking forward to it.

Re: model 1100 trap choke - mod trap
Measure the bore and choke with a bore micrometer. The difference in the two dimensions will give the the constriction. About .008 to .012 would be improved cylinder. .015 to .025, modified. .025 to .035, improved modified. Any more would be full.

Re: Model 81-D Value
Long time since I posted this question, have not checked back. Sorry to say that the Model 81 was not on the dealer's table the last time I attended that show. Apparently, someone liked it enough to purchase. Another Model 81 question. Did some Model 81s come from the factory with the wide quick det...

You will need to post pictures of several views of the gun in order to get an appraisal here. If you don't know how to post pictures, maybe a member here will offer to post pictures that you email to him.

If you found the token in Eastern PA, it was probably given away by Wilbur Cox. He was an active Remington shooter and salesman in the MD, PA, and DE area.

Model 81-D Value
I saw a fairly clean Model 81-D at a show this weekend. It is in 35 Remington caliber, seems to be as manufactured. I don't collect engraved Remington rifles unless they are in my limited price range. What would be an approximate value for an 85 to 90 percent 81-D. On closer inspection, it may even ...
