Good morning Sorry for the delayed response. Remington did have a limited run of No.1 Rolling Blocks from 1997 - 2011. Can you post more pictures of the receiver sides and bottom? If the DC is located on the left side of the barrel just before the receiver then that is your date code, which is D for September and C for 1934

Is there any barrel markings i.e. (barrel address or date code)? It looks like a Remington model 513 which were used by the military as training rifles.

Some of the very early 1889 models were absent of the barrel address and other markings. Early examples of the 89's also were absent of the grade mark on the water table.
