In my opinion it is a refinished original New Model (not 1861 ) The Refinisher added the inspector marks to the frame,barrel and cylinder. I have never seen such marks on the rear of the cylinder. Your gun was made in early 1863 and I believe it is a transition model of the old (61 model ) into the New Model since it doesn't have New Model stamped on it. We have no further Information about the gun except that it was accepted by the Army. Jay Huber RSA
