Re: A little help with my new to ME 1890 revolver

Good pictures would be great if you would post them.
I would say depending on condition you could be shooting a quite valuable revolver however any 1890 is not cheap, unless it cut, refinished, etc...
Anyone has one under $1,000 in any condition I would be looking at it ;)

Re: Remington Arms Pistol

I've actually seen one of these before with the real grips and a name not scratched into the frame. Darn if I remember what it really is but I suspect German origin.

Sounds like a Model 1900 - made in 1908 (no exposed hammers)
K would mean steel barrels

Re: Model 31 Blueing and value

Typically re-bluing an old firearm that is in better condition is "distasteful" however one that is without (added) collector value it doesn't much matter, it's whatever makes you happy. I've seen absolutely pristine model 31's for sale for under $400 so while we typically don't give value...

Re: Model 12-A SN Question

The serial would make it 1938 so it certainly should have the code on the barrel.
I have a 121-F laying around here I'm pretty sure I have a picture I can post as an example.

Did you say merely engraved?
An Engraved (factory) is a whole different story.

I see Gander Mountain has a mint one for sale for $999

Re: Remington Model 32 o/u shotgun

I'm not sure there is a collectors market for a model 32, I'm not saying there's not a couple people out there but it's not large. So weathered or refinished neither of which would be interest to a collector so refinishing it or not would be what you want. Frankly I've taken mine out and shot it, gr...

Re: xp-100 7mm br

I didn't think there was a "min or max" COAL unless the bullet wasn't at least seated 1/2 way into the neck to make sure it's squarely aligned or wouldn't fit into a magazine. I believe the best answer is to partially size a case neck, seat, eject, measure (pull with a kinetic hammer) and ...

Looks like a 12-C (if not short only) made in 1912, engraved by someone (not Remington), and refinished.

Re: ELLIOT'S FOUR SHOT "RING TRIGGER" DERRINGER spring missi

Contrary to popular belief ;) Those are used to hold the tension on the ring (not to "popup" the barrel) Source you can try the service/parts page but I suspect it'll be hard to find best place is parts on maybe gunbroker. They are missing on most of all of them I see AND the one you have ...

Re: manufacture year of a Remington Elliot 4 Barrell Derring

They made about 25,000 4 barrels, I've never seen a serial over 25K but many in the 24k range, I believe then also only made around 15K of the 22 barrel also never seen a serial higher then 15K. What's also interesting is there are two different frames for the 4 barrel, not sure why I'm guessing whe...
