Hi folks,

Interesting “US Marked and Inspected Remington Beals Navy” up at auction – see website below. If this were a Colt Navy percussion, in this condition, and one of only 500 “US Marked and Inspected” for the Army, it would be worth at least twice (maybe 3 times) the price, I’ll bet.

Does anybody know who the sub-inspector with an initial of “W” was?

Any other thoughts about this one?
