I have a remington m25R carbine in 25-20, and it takes all of the force a person can muster to cycle a shell from the magazine. Is there an easy fix, or something to check that I can do myself. It seems like the cartridge carrier isn't lifting the shell quite high enough to line up with the chamber.
I had this carbine at the gunsmith, and just got it back, but it has the same problem! He fixed everything except the cycling issue, which was the main purpose of it being with him to begin with.
Is this a common problem with the model 25?
Thanks.
