 Rem. 51 as a shooter?
Gentlemen: Understanding the need to avoid today's hotter ammo, I purchased a really nice-looking reblued 51 .380 the other day. It produced a few smokestacks (probably not cleaned years) when I first shot it, took it home, disassembled it, and gave it a thorough cleaning.
Can you all give me the go-ahead to continue shooting it.....and even occasionally using it as a pocket pistol for concealed carry??? I have found that Numerich Arms has reasonably priced parts for the Rem. 51.
I have considered using some Hornady Critical Defense rounds in it when carried.
Thanks in advanced for your advice!
