There is a fantastic resource on the internet for the Model 760 and it's variations, but I cannot find a similar resource for the 742. I was wondering what wood styles were on the earlier 742C models and what calibers were made in the particular wood. I have a collection of 742C/760C rifles, all in the old "tootsie roll" style wood, and wanted to try and fill in the blanks. A lot of information can be gathered by looking at old print ads, but I'm sure someone has a better resource.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
