SportMaster Model 612
SportMaster Model 612
I have had this gun since I was a kid and so did my father. After trying to find out some information on it, I have realized I may have something unique. Any assistance on this rifle's history would be great. I have seen other posts where they thought it was a 612, only to find out it is really a 512. This is a 612 without a doubt. I have looked at the date code and looks like it was from 1946. Thanks
Re: SportMaster Model 612
If your rifle is a true M-612, it will be chambered for the experimental .267 Remington rim fire cartridge.
If it's .22 rf then it has been modified from it's original production model, possibly by Remington
For more information, see the book "Remington .22 Rimfire Rifles by Gyde & Marcot".

I have seen many post about people requesting info on their 22 rf model 612's. All of them have been 512's. Post a picture. Would love to see it.
