Remington 22 Scoremaster 511P question!!
Remington 22 Scoremaster 511P question!!
I have a question, I have a remington scoremaster 511P it has all the parts etc it`s my first rifle..it`s been in my husbands family for a while it was his grandfathers. I checked the lettering on the side and found out it was made in 1940 I do know that these rifles do not have the serial number, I found out how to check the date. but along the side of the 2 letters there is a symbol. it looks like maybe an anchor?it`s a little warn, does anyone know what this was for? or what it means? thanks so much:)

No problem. He must have inspected a lot of rifles because I see it a lot.
