RW above serial#
What does the RW above a serial number mean on Remington rifles. I have a 12 C and have seen several Remingtons that have the RW.

If you go to the Search function and put that into the line, you'll get numerous links. Unfortunately, many are just "Remington" and "works", but that's what it stands for.
