660 .223

I recently picked a new rifle and its a 660 .223.... How do i find out the year it was made ? Dont see a serial # stamp ... I have to belive it is not a counterfit, been sitting a safe for 15 years now . Was given to me ...

Your going to have to take it out of the stock to see it.

I don't understand. The serial number is on the receiver ahead of the model number. Is should be fully visible unless it's a somewhat strange custom stock. But the best way to date it is the barrel code as linked to above.

I dont see a typical serial # like the ones on my other rifles , I have never owned a Remingtion..... I will refer to the like above for more info ..Thanks
