What's the difference between a orginal 760 gamemaster and 760 gamemaster 5-diamond

Edited/corrected!

Letter referenced shows the ADL 5 Diamond as a 1953 intro. I have a 1953 serial # 760 with the "5 Diamond" checkering, in 300 Savage. Also has a Griffin and Howe side mount. Not sure why the heck they put a G&H side mount, and the requisite side receiver holes! when the receiver was factory drilled on top for a scope mount! DUH! But it is still way cool!

I apologize! Checked my notes. My gun is actually manufactured in 1953! And it is factory D&T. Sorry for the confusion!
