In reference to your question concerning the value of your Remington, this forum cannot estimate the value. Appraisals would require a physical review of the specimin. The best I can do is to refer you to S.P. Fjestad's book: BLUE BOOK OF GUN VALUES, or Norm Flayderman's book: FLAYDERMAN'S GUIDE TO ANTIQUE AMERICAN FIREARMS and THEIR VALUES. Take a look in either or both of these books, establish the grade of your Remington according to the information they supply, then review the price column as listed. Keep in mind that the prices listed are retail.
