Choke Size of Model 11
I have a Remington Model 11 12 gauge semiauto. I was told it was manufactured in 1937. What would be the choke size of the barrel?

It could be anything. There is no way we can answer the question from the information given. The choke (or lack thereof) should be marked on the left side of the barrel just forward of the receiver. Could be CYL, SKEET, IMP. CYL, MOD, IMP. MOD (very rare), FULL, or Remington's special extra cost boring LONG RANGE. Show us some pictures. There should also be a two (or three) letter date code in that area on the barrel, as well as inspector's marks.

Thanks for your reply. It gives me a place to begin for getting an answer to
my question. As for posting a picture, that may challenge my technical abilities. I don't know about this forum, but instructions for others presume a PC format whereas mine is an Apple format. They aren't much help for people like me where this stuff is not intuitive.
Thanks again.
