1100 lop-classic trap vs field model

Post by chris0909 »

I recently replaced the field stock (early 80's model with the hard buttplate) on my 1100 with a new from remington monte Carlo trap stock. Length of pull feels longer. Is it? Can anyone tell me the differences in lop between the field stock and the trap stock. I was shooting trap with old field stock and was told I should get a monte Carlo stock. It feels ok, just a little long.

The Monte Carlo trap stock should be 1-7/16" DAC, 2" DAH, and 14-1/2" LOP. Field is 1-1/2", 2-1/2", 14". Sporting is the same as field with I think a 14-1/8" LOP. Could be 14-1/4", I can't remember right now.
What could have happened... did.
