Graded Remington Model 10s
Graded Remington Model 10s
What do we know about Remington Model 10s in grades higher than Trap? I just purchased a Model 10E, which I assume is quite scarce. I have seen a few D Grades, but never an E. What do readers know about the engraved guns?

I would like to know how many of our readers have seen or heard of a Model 10E or 10F and how valuable they seem to be. In other words, how much have they sold for. Thanks for helping.

Re: Graded Remington Model 10s
I have seen 5 Model 10 Expert Grades, 7 Model 10 Premier Grades, and about a dozen Model 10 Tournament Grades.
D's have been sold/priced between $550 - $1,850
E's None of which did not have some considerable issues $1,250 - $2,750
F's $600 - $1,150 major issues
One good one sold for $2,250
And a 2 barrel set @65% Condition priced at $4,500.
Does yours have the round grip or flat?

My F is a two barrel set with capped pistol grip. The E is a two barrel set with straight grip and abbreviated Monte Carlo and looks very much factory. What do you know about a Monte Carlo stock on a Model 10?

Bill,
I have seen 2 I think.
Rod Fuller advertised one in a Tournament "D" grade for a long time, may still have it that looked original.
The other looked like a replacement.
The checkering pattern would be one way to tell, but the only sure way is to remove the wood from the gun and verify the serial number and "Grade" stamp.
