Remington Autoloading Shotgun in search of TLC.
Hello all. I recently acquired a first year production autoloading shotgun in really bad shape- fore end shattered, shell latch/feeding mechanism inoperative, and a horrendous old Redhead buttpad cobbled onto the buttstock. Can anyone recommend a really good gunsmith, knowledgeable on this make of gun?

Most Auto 5 work gets directed to Art's Gun shop in MO.
If you are looking for expertise in that action gun, they have the market pretty well cornered these days.
How low a serial number is it?
