Post Model 1100 shell catcher
I just bought a very nice model 1100 with a 30" barrel for trap shooting. Today, in spite of the single-digit temperatures here in Upstate New York, I found that it shoots very well, but I need a shell catcher. Any recommendations?

Years ago you could buy a spring steel clip that narrowed down the ejection port, and was easily removed. Don't know if they are still available. I have one (I think I can find it) that I'll sell, ($15, incl S&H) but I'm in Florida for two months, and can't get to it now.

Remington also played around with drilling two holes in the bottom edge of the barrel extension, and mounting a wide, shallow "U" shaped wire which served to narrow the opening. Worked well, and wasn't as obtrusive as the clip, but also was not easily removable, which might be OK for a dedicated Trap gun, but not for a skeet gun

Have you ever used Google? Try "shotgun shell catchers".
I found several in a matter of seconds. (there's probably more)

Thanks. I just ordered a shell catcher from Brownells. I haven't oreered from them before, but I like their variety.
