Mohawk 48
Mohawk 48
Tshooter,
I believe the Mohawk 48 was an inexpensive recoil operated shotgun from the late 1960's or early 70's. I bought two in 20ga., in 1973. One has never been fired, but the other has had good use in the dove and quail fields.
I would guess it was marketed against the 1100 somewhat like the 870 Wingmaster vs the 870 Express is today.
Nothing real certain for you to go on, but hope it helps.
Good hunting.
Spitzer
P.S. Think I paid around $75.00ea., for the pair new. Retailed about $125.00. Department store wanted to clear them out.
