Re: Remington Autoloading Shotgun
The serial numbers for 1908 production run from 48,841 to 63,465. What a super treat to have a period picture of the original owner with the gun. Thank you for sharing.

Is that a vent rib? Got any pictures of the old girl today? How neat.

Re: Remington Autoloading Shotgun
I think the little Winchester pump is a Model 1890, not a 1906. The 1906 had a 20-inch barrel and the magazine tube came to within an inch or two of the muzzle, while the Model 1890 was "standard" with a 24-inch barrel.
Re: Remington Autoloading Shotgun
Well Gentlemen, I gave this fine old shotgun a good cleaning and took it to a trap shoot the
other day ! I shot 21 out of 25 the first round,,,, it did a great job, and worked great, especially
after being 102 years old ! I still have to get a good recent picture of it to show ya's !

Neat Gun! Have my great Granddad's 1910 model of the Remington autoloading shotgun. Just had a new firing pin installed!
Re: Remington Autoloading Shotgun
will add that the gun has a solid tapered rib.
