6.8 spc ,,,,

Who's shot this round and out of what firearm,,,I just came across a Ruger 77 compact in this caliber and thought it might make a nice truck gun and something for my wife to shoot deer size game with but I don't have any experience with the caliber yet......

Most info on 6.8 SPC will be found on AR15 forums. I have not hunted with the 6.8; but I shoot it in a Stag Arms 7H AR15 based rifle. It shoots a 115 gr .270 cal bullet at 2600+ fps accurately out to 300 yds and is easy to reload. Recoil in the AR platform is not much more than .223. People report one shot kills on deer and hogs.
