What Model, History, and Value?

I've got an old Remington .22 pump with an octagon barrel. Serial # RW above 87xx7.( The x's are numbers, I just don't know if it's alright to give out a firearm's serial numbers on the internet). The last copyright date on the top of the barrel is April 5, 1910. It is in good shape, except for my father's initials being carved into the stock. Where can I look to find out about this piece?

From your description, your Remington is a Model 12-C, made in 1911. There are no records that show to whom the gun was shipped or sold. Sorry for the delay. Hope this information helps.
