Hello all.. i am new to the forum and have a question about a gun i recently acquired. I picked up an 870 wingmaster in 16 gauge at a gun show this past weekend. After calling remington and giving them the serial number they dated the gun to a production year of 1955. The gun is in very good overall shape and shoots flawlessly. I got the gun for 100 dollars and was wondering if i did well regarding the price.

Thats good to hear...The guy i bought it from was actually gonna chop it up and make a home defense "trench gun" out of it..i couldnt let him destroy a beautiful firearm like that. It is going to be reborn as an upland gun this weekend..
