The barrel of my Model 51, .380 cal. can be moved up and down and side to side at the muzzle when in battery. When disassembled, if I put the barrel in place on the receiver and "lock" it down with the takedown pin, it can be rocked up and down and side-to side pivoiting around the pin. Is this normal, or is this slop responsible for the lack of accuracy I observe with this pistol?
