1930 remington model 11, use??

I recently inherited a model 11B 20G (prod. 1930) in seemingly great condition, i know it's been used a few times in the last few years.

I'd like to take it out trapping but because of it's sentimental value don't want to risk wear.

Should a gun this age, with frequent cleaning, be used much or is use very hard on it?

Take it out and use it. They are great shooters and you will have fun with it. I have the same gun in 16 Ga. and it is a fun gun. Handle it carefully.

i trao shoot with it eveyweekend
100 shells a week still going strong
dont know if i would go around shooting slugs out of it like that
