I was given a single shot 12 gage shot gun by my uncle. It cocks on the side of the gun not the top. The only things stamped on the gun are -REMINGTON ARMS CO. ILTON N.Y. USA - and the numbers 21702behind the trigger gard and 21702 and 5135 are on the barrel lug also both numbers are stamped inside receiver and the metal inside the front stock if thats what it's called. If you can tell me anything about this gun I would love to hear about it. To me the gun is in good shape and has beautiful wood on it.
I just put a 12 gage shell in it and it is sloppy it mut be a 10 gage.??
Thank You
