At a recent gun show I was able to purchase a Remington 700 DM Mountain CDL chambered in 25-06 that is setup with Leupold bases, rings, and a Leupold 2-7X Vari-X II rifle scope. The rifle is in almost perfect 98 percent condition with satin bluing and is in a wood stock.
It seems that this rifle is now out of production so I am wondering if getting into this setup for $625.00 was a good investment.
Putting the money issues to the side, this rifle is really fun to shoot. So far I have only killed four bowling pins at two hundred meters, all one shot kills.

Re: Remington 700 DM Mountain chambered in 25-06
I am wondering how likely it will be for me to find a Remington 700 Classic chambered in 250 Savage without breaking the bank. Presently I have only two quarter bores: a Remington 722 chambered in 257 Roberts, and my most recent addition: a Remington 700 DM Mountain chambered in 25-06.
