Good afternoon. This is my first visit to this website and my first post.
A gunsmith friend called me today with an offer to sell.
He said he has a Model 870 "Matched Pair", 28 and .410, new, unfired. The only downside is they were stored in cases and suffer from very minor "pin pricking". I'll see them for the first time on Friday but in the meantime I'm wondering what I've gotten myself into.
Thank you for any and all information on these Skeet guns.
Bobby
Model 870 "Matched Pair"
Re: Model 870 "Matched Pair"
They should be Skeet choked, and should have a set of screw-on weight caps which fit on the end of the magazine tube. I think the receivers should have some gold washed engraving. Neat gun set.
Re: Model 870 "Matched Pair"
Look close. That "minor pin pricking" will really hit the value.
What could have happened... did.

Barking? I believe I provided a link in a previous post which makes your inquiry mute. Thank you for your contribution, not.woollybugger wrote:Are these the same ones you are barking for on this site?
WollyBugger? Back in the day, wasn't that was someone who liked to have sex with sheep?
