Value of Remington 40 XBBR

Post by tomh1426 »

I'd like to sell this gun (actually Im helping my father sell it) but I'm having a hard time finding I'ts value, hopfully someone hear can help me.
It's a Remington 40 XB bench rest chambered in 6mm ppc it has a 30x Luepold scope and a 2oz trigger.
It's in perfect condition and has a very heavy stainless barrel and a plain flat bottom wood stock and will come with reloading dies, brass etc.
Any idea what the value of this gun is?
Thanks, Tom

Ive seen a few 40XB BRs selling for around 1300.00. I think your caliber is going to give you a little problem catching people, but its not impossible. You have a good scope, but you never seem to get good return on scopes. I do not meen to sound so negative. You have a great gun. I would say in perfect condition with scope $1300.00.

I figured selling this gun in this caliber would be hard to do locally but at least I have a starting point now.
thanks, Tom
