Model 14 forearm

Post by eliwhitley »

Will a model 14 forearm fit a model 14 1/2?

You posted this on the "handgun" portion of the site and for a guy that is supposed to have several Model 14 & 14-1/2's you ask a lot of basic questions. OK, I'll try to be nice because Tom Hemphill asked be to give you a reply...............YES! OH! They did make some 14's & 14-1/2's that did not have matching upper/lower receivers. Not many were made that way but Remington never threw anything away.

One thing a bit unique about the 14-1/2 is that their parts in "most" cases will interchange, not so with the 14.

Sorry. I do have my grandfathers 14 in 35. I also have a 14 with a TNS plus a regular cross bolt safety in 35. I have a 14 carbine in 25. I have 2 14 1/2's one in 44 and one in 38. I just picked up that 14 1/2 carbine in 38.

Thanks for the help.
