Can anyone provide a clue how this part is installed?
I could disassemble my full length rifle to see, but would hate to have both my 1879's torn apart if I can avoid it.
Thanks for any ideas.
Argentine R/B 'lateral' extractor?
Re: Argentine R/B 'lateral' extractor?
Hi There,
Welcome to the Group!
I'm a little confused by the wording of your post. First off, let me
make sure that I know what model of Rolling Block you have. Does
your rifle have the octagon section of barrel over the chamber area
(sometimes referred to as a knocksform) stamped with "Modelo
Argentino 1879 E. N."? If so, that model has a 'type 4' frame and
uses a rotary extractor.
Good Luck!
