remington 51 mag

I have a Rem 51 in 380. The magazine is stamped 32 caliber. But it works just fine with 380 rounds. And the dimensions of the mag are identical to the dimensions of a 380 mag published in the NRA's book of schematics for pistols. Should I have expected this? (I did not.)

I answered you but it didn't seem to go through. I have never seen anything that said the Mags were interchangeable. I do know from experience that the 51 is very touchy about using non factory mags. I have experienced jamming. Jay Huber RSA
