Work is now in progress on a new book. It will be:

DR. WILLIAM H. ELLIOT'S REMINGTON DOUBLE DERINGER
    by Douglas S. Drummond, Rudolph H. Johnson, Elias J. Williams, & James W. Barnard.

The forthcoming book will be published by Jeff Millett of Armslore Press with printing January 1st.

The book examines the life of Dr. Elliot, his gun designs and work leading up to the production of the Double Deringer, his work in Ilion and New York City, and the evolution of the Deringer through its many address changes (MANUFACTURED BY E. REMINGTON & SONS, REMINGTONS, the E. REMINGTON & SONS barrel-top two line Address, six variations of REMINGTON ARMS COMPANY addresses, and the REMINGTON ARMS COMPANY - U.M.C. Co. variations), and much other related information.

After our announcement at the January RSA Meeting in Las Vegas we have received outstanding input from members. We currently need photographs of exceptional engraved Double Deringers and accoutrements (holsters, boxes, leathers purses, spring driven sleeve holders, etc.).
