Remington Conversion

Post by jayrem@aol.com »

:P I noted your inquiry in the Remington web site. I have an Remington New Model Conversion for sale that takes the Colt 44cal. CF Long cartridge. It is a relatively rare one in that it is converted using the Remington 1868 design with a thin plate dovetailed into the face of the recoil shield. The cylinder is stamped" PAT.APP/D FOR" The gun was apparently nickled at the time of conversion and it retains about 85% or more of the plating. The gun is in fine condition and is serial number115492 conversion #16 with great light walnut grips. It is all original as converted. I am asking $1850 for the gun. If you are still looking and are interested I can Email you pictures and answer any further questions.
